Nord Engineering: Easy technology and smart containers to drive the new collection model in Pinto

With the launch of the Special Cleaning Plan “Pinto Limpio ¡Y Punto!”, the municipality near Madrid has begun a profound transformation of its cleaning and collection service, adding new resources, more technology and equipment designed to offer a more efficient, sustainable service tailored to the real needs of each neighbourhood. The City Council recently presented a fleet of 45 latest-generation ECO vehicles and more than 500 new containers for all fractions. Made with sustainable materials, fitted with pedals and designed to minimise maintenance, these containers help increase the quantity and quality of sorted waste, keeping streets cleaner and tidier. Their reinforced structure, refined design and the possibility of integrating fill-level sensors or user identification systems make the Nord Engineering range a key ally for a people-centred, data-driven smart city model.
