Nord Engineering has realised the EASY system, composed by a bilateral automatic single operator equipment and by different types of containers for the collection of all kind of selected and unselected wastes.

The EASY equipment is an automatic device placed behind the cabin that automatically collects, on both sides of the vehicle, every container with the special “F90 mushroom” coupling. Using just one type of equipment it is possible to manage the collection of wastes in the whole territory from the historical centre to the suburbs, from the shopping centre to the industrial area.

The structure can work on both sides of the vehicle. The movements are constantly controlled by the electronic system, in the way to avoid damages to the equipments and the to containers and reducing the maintenance costs. 

The automatic single operator system protects the safety and the health of the driver, who works and follows the working cycle, remaining in the cabin, throughout the entire shift.

The equipment is available in three different models:

The automatic structure, compared with others equipments, can be set up in many different ways: with compactor fixed on the chassis, or with roll off disposal that can change the dumps with or without compaction system. This way it is possible to collect indifferently compactable material (paper, plastic…) or unselected wastes, or moreover uncompactable material, such as glass or multi-material.

It is also possible to use a roll-off dump with washing system for cleaning the containers.

Container EASY CITY, volume from 1,8 to 3,5 m³ for every kind of waste.

The EASY CITY container has a particular design, high innovative, with rounded lines that make it suitable for the city and it is not dangerous for the users. This container has been realized to collect every type of waste, also the household one, because the bottom has a special structure and the liquids of the wastes can’t come out of it.

It suits perfectly to create ecologic islands, in fact, if placed it in set, it exploits better the public ground and leaves more free place for parking.

The structural part of the container is in galvanized steel. The covers are realized with a thermo-moulding process, using coloured HDPE (high density polyethylene). The bottom is in hotgalvanized steel.

Inside the container there is no mechanical part that can interfere with the waste because the system for the opening of the bottom is completely covered by casings. The waste, during the emptying phase, is totally discharged, thanks also to the vertical opening of the bottom doors. The container is provided of the F90 mushroom coupling.

Container EASY CUBE, volume from 3 to 7 m³ for selected and industrial wastes.

The EASY CUBE container has a big capacity, is strong and has low running costs.

The EASY CUBE container is used for the collection of selected wastes, voluminous and bulky wastes, production rejects, packages; the emptying from the bottom allows the discharge of every type of waste.

The structure of the container is in galvanized steel painted with thermo moulding powder and the roof is in high density thermo formed polyethylene.

The bottom is in steel, while the cover is in high density thermo formed polyethylene (HDPE), realized with a mould in thermo stabilized aluminium.

The EASY CUBE container has a parallelepiped shape and can be placed in sets for creating ecologic islands. It has a simple structure and can be simply assembled, also directly at destination. Thanks to the modular structure, the container can be realized in different volumes: from 3 to 7 m³.

For introducing the waste, the container can be equipped with different shape and dimension’s doors, for the different type of material to introduce. The container is equipped of the F90 mushroom coupling.

Container EASY UNDERGROUND, from 3 to 5 m³ for all kind of wastes.

The underground container is composed by a concrete element, installed underground, a single unit composed by the container (volume from 3 to 5 m³), a trampling platform and an external column for the waste introduction, accessible for babies and aged people.

The underground system is absolutely efficient and flexible and allows to improve the quality of the collection service and also of life. It can reduce the nasty smell, because the underground’s temperature is lower than the upper ground one, reduce the noise during the waste introduction, particularly for the glass, increase the free place for pedestrians and ameliorate the street’s image; all that you see in the surface, in fact, is a simple introducing column, while the big volume of the container is hidden underground.  The underground container doesn’t need any electric or hydraulic installation and any ordinary maintenance.

The collection system with underground containers is the most rational and suitable in the districts with a high density population and in the historical centre, because the recoverable volume of waste is very high, while the space needed on the public ground is small. The EASY equipment is the only system that can collect the underground containers with a big volume, in automatic and completely safe way.

Half underground containers.

The half underground container has a cylindrical shape and is installed under the ground for two third of its volume. It has a big capacity to stock wastes (until 5 m³). The container has a small environmental impact in comparison with an above ground system with the same volume and it is suitable for the collection in parks, gardens, beaches and natural areas; the external tub, in fact, can be covered by different materials, like wood planks and steel laminates.

F90 MUSHROOM COUPLING

The basis of the EASY system is the F90 mushroom coupling disposal, thanks to it the equipment can make the collection cycle in automatic, in a short time and full safety.

The F90 coupling is a special mechanical disposal, which can be installed on every type of container, with a single hooking point (underground container, half underground container, traditional bell-shaped containers…). It has been invented and patented by Nord Engineering in order to exploit at most the features of the EASY Equipment.

The mushroom coupling is composed by a “mushroom” in galvanized steel, connected with the internal system through a sliding tubular, which is connected with special belts inside the containers, that, with their movement, cause the opening of the bottom. This mechanical is installed on the containers for household wastes, paper, etc, but it can be realised with a simple mechanical lever directly connected to the bottom. The system with mechanical levers is installed only on containers for glass collection.
